Toni Ross is a multi-disciplinary artist who works with traditional craft mediums to address themes of distress and unity. In her fiber work, installation art, and sculpture, she integrates her interests in texture and natural patterns within abstractions. Themes of language and the written word are also central to her practice, and are often activated as political and social commentary. In 2017, Ross began a series of panel discussions called “WOMEN ARTISTS: Reshaping the Conversation.” The project has helped to build a community of people that are galvanized by its content and the times in which we live.
