Megan Koons is an Ohio-based artist working between painting and weaving. She creates atmospheric landscapes of layered acrylic paint merged with handwoven textiles. Beginning from photographic or drawn references, her process shifts intuitively as each piece develops, guided by the texture and structure of the woven surface. The resulting compositions evoke shifting, memory-based landscapes where light, texture, and form remain in flux.
